I Got The Cane Or Slipper In The Sixth Form

We had a bit of snow here last night. One of the slipperings I got in 6th form was for throwing snowballs. Despite an announcement in assembly that throwing snowballs was strictly banned, four first year boys were having a bit of a snowball fight. One of the snowballs narrowly missed me so I grabbed some snow and threw one back at them - just as a teacher appeared. The five of us were marched off to a classroom for 6 each with the slipper.

In my school if caught throwing snowballs it meant an automatic caning for any boy who was caught doing it,

@barney1 We usually just got the slipper but we could be caned for it. I was one of those who was.

@barney1 In my school it was usually a slippering offence. In my wife's school it was more often a caning matter and she was caned for it.
