I Got The Cane Or Slipper In The Sixth Form

When I was in 6th form we were still liable to get the slipper or cane, just like in earlier years. We did have a choice though, the slipper or lines/detention and the cane or suspension. I think almost all of us took the sore bottom option every time, I know I always did.

@Martinll. I agree suspension is more serious than the cane. Opting for the cane meant we were getting off lightly. It was only used in 6th form where suspension would have been a reasonable sanction anyway. I got with some friends for spending lunchtime in the pub and returning to school a little drunk.
