I Have Asthma

I have had asthma since I was 24. I believe it came about as a result of bronchitis that kept recurring and was never fully cured. It damaged my lungs. I now have to carry a rescue inhaler and take Symbacort for long term treatment. It sucks because, if I laugh real hard, I start to cough and feel like I can't breathe. I also have to watch the cold weather in winter, since it can turn ugly real fast.

I don't suffer from asthma, but bronchitis gets me in January each of the last four years. I tried the meds prescribed by the doctor, but it made me worse, because I have an adverse reaction to codeine and that's what he prescribed. Now, I drink liquorice tea. It makes short work of the inflammation and congestion.
