I Hate Waiting

I feel darkness settle on me like a blanket
It’s hot and suffocating but after this long, I just take it
The leaves circle in the air above my head
The world looks like it’s dying
And I’m so consumed with dread

You see the seasons don’t just change
my whole mind set’s rearranged
It’s so familiar and strange
And I don’t want to be in this place…

I like all of the seasons. Sure Spring is my favourite but each has its own magnificence.

@sogdianrock I have seasonal depression- obviously I always hope it wont come, but inevitably it does, and I dread it

That did cross my mind. Sorry about that. You could fly South for The Winter? One day anyway. I suppose you have heard of light box therapy? I go swimming a lot and love swimming pools in Winter. The one I go has desert island scenes painted on the walls which is a nice touch. I know SAD is worse and more and different. Hope it is not bad this year.
