I Went On a Date

At 42 I took my cousin's son 18, like a nephew to me, on the very first date of his life. He was the epitome of courtesy and good manners, and I enjoyed myself so much! He made me feel so special. We've been on four dates over three years, and I sometimes wonder if he wasn't my "nephew", where it would have led.

That was very nice of you. When was the last time you two went out?
Blithespirit · 51-55, F
@TimSummers: about three months ago.

@Blithespirit: It sounds like it was a success not only for him to practice his manners but a great testament to his parents for teaching them to him.

@TimSummers: It is always a wonderful experience for both of us.

@Blithespirit: you two going out again any time soon?
Blithespirit · 51-55, F
@TimSummers: I guess so. I'll take him out after his final examination results are declared.

@Blithespirit: How wonderful! Will you pick where you two go or does he or is it a mutual decision?
Blithespirit · 51-55, F
@TimSummers: so far I've picked. Maybe I'll let him tis time. But it's always my treat to him. I've made him promise to take me out when he receives his first pay cheque. And it needn't be any swanky place. Even a McDonalds will do for me, so he needn't feel conscious. The important thing is we spend the evening together, aunt and nephew.

@Blithespirit: That is wonderful the relationship you two have. Such a close bond and allowing him to mature.
