At the end of the day when you look into the mirror while brushing your teeth and you reflect on the days events can you be happy in your own company?

If you can't stand your own company then you need to ask yourself if you are true to you? You can't lie to yourself cause you know everything about you.

Be true to you, be honest with yourself and the rest will fall into line.

I add a hearty amen to this. I am on a mission to become more aware of who I really am apart from ex-wife, mother, sister, daughter, teacher, etc. So far, there are quite a few things I like about me and many other parts of my nature and personality that often make me want to "throw myself to the curb". But like any friendship, I learn I have to be forgiving of my flaws and try and find ways to more "lovingly" deal with them. I have a long way to go, but at least I can say that I am working on getting to know myself.
