I use a small knife but there are tools with little scoops if you have to clean pineapples quite a lot.

@KA9ha I know, I use a small knife to do it. Fresh pineapple is a lot more healthy than the canned type though.

slice off the outer skin then make long diagonal v shaped cuts to get the eyes out
