How do you prefer to measure small increments when cooking?

Although measuring spoons are convenient, I prefer weighing out the contents on the scale to determine the exact volume. How about you...what's your preferred method?

level measuring spoon is fine. That is how recipes in America a written...in American standardized volumetric amounts. If it were a chemistry experiment things would be measured in ISO form...
@TexChik I'm Italian-American some of this some of that, we don't use measuring spoons

I use spoons but I also eyeball. I’ve been cooking a long time.
