Lets Create-A-Salad. choose 8 toppings to go with & a dressing & a short description about it

i'd go first. as always the greens would not be part of the 8 topics... so we have greens [preferably lettuce, red cabbages]. then for the ingredients: chickpeas, red kidney beans, corn, edamame beans, sunflower seeds, eggs, black olives, grilled chicken.

not sure what salads you make... but that's a salad my friend made which i happened to have tried

@DanielChristensen love the combination. from the looks of it so we got some onions to spice things up. some salty tastes from the olives, cheese, and bacons, some sweet from carrots, a bit of breadings from croutons, then some crunch with cucumbers add all to that the blue cheese and well must i say gotta try that someday myself =D

@DanielChristensen blue cheese dressing was a great pick over any vinegrette since both cucumbers and vinegar are quite some not so compatible, but it works too. creamy taste with cucumber is good

Rocket, kale, chopped celery, pomegranate beads, puy lentils with a mixed dressing of tahini and apple cider vinegar. Yum!

Or....sliced fennel, celery, onions, thinly sliced preserved lemons and papaya with a dressing mix of the juice from the preserved lemons and apple cider vinegar.

@GypsyMiss i haven't heard of some ingridients here...such as rocket, kale, pomegranate beads, puy lentils... and tahini. but from the looks of it it sounds exoticly delicious

the 2nd one sounds like a citrus salad morely fruit based good for a starter appetizers

From top right moving clockwise....kale, pomegranate, puy lentils (under the carrots), and wild rocket. Tahini is a dip/sauce type ingredient that is the basis of things like hommus and babaganuch.

ah not a fan of vinegrettes... i see... then probably just apply some olive oil and salt perhaps add a bit of honey

@JustLikeGreta hmm not bad for a combo as well. cheedar cheese and bacon bits serves to give the salad a salty taste, add some chick peas [my favorite] to give its mushy taste of hummus, tomatoes for some sour spice and onions for spices... plus the celery for crunch and lastly ranch dressing [i don't know its exact taste of ranch, there's sweet and there's that salty cream taste]
