so...how do you define "big" and "small" serving?

fat n slim, fast n slow metabolism, big n small appetites... to those who traveled around the world experiencing all sorts of food serving sizes

what is your limit for a definition of "too big" and what is your dissatisfaction in your definition of "pipsqueak sized"

you may mark a specific country and tell about your limits or dissatisfaction with food servings

i've heard that in america an Xtra small is actually a Large in some asian countries, no offense

@SakuraShimeji Yeah. You guys eat smaller portions. My mom took an owl bento back because she said I couldn't fit a sandwich or anything else in there since it was too small.

I've also heard and seen American servings are somewhat... Huge!
I'm old fashioned.. I believe you should leave the table still a tad hungry... But that's just me

@ozgirl512 not everyone eats the whole serving of food served in restaurants, carry-out boxes for the leftovers or a split shared meal if it's allowed in the restaurants.

@ozgirl512 its not just you, but most chinese people says that don't eat all in the table and leave some left overs indicating you've gotten enough amount of food to eat and showing a non-gluttonous way of eating

its why they get big amounts in Buffet and leave it unfinished...

I know here that one serving may not be an actual serving at all in restaurants. It may actually be 2 or possibly 3 servings.
