Chivalry is dead with most guys in America; it died when women decided to protest that they could do everything a man has been doing and demanded equal pay for those jobs. Sound Chauvinistic?

Well truth be told, from a guys perspective, if you want to be seen as just “one of the boys”, then you can be treated like “one of the boys”. The days of coddling a woman like a child ended in the mid-90’s. Sorry for your plight.
