I Wear My Heart On My Sleeve

....people usually know where they stand with me....but the favour isn't always repaid.
The problem with wearing yr heart on yr sleeve means it is often exposed so it gets damaged. I need to guard it more I guess x

Wearing your heart on your sleeve, ALWAYS exposes your heart to everything.
"...people usually know where they stand with me..." The problem with that statement is that it also means "some people" know that they can take advantage of you, when they want to.
