I think our parents were treating us pretty equal though, but I'm not sure how equal since I was a kid. When it comes to us playing together, we were meeting in the middle alot, I think. We respected each other, even though we also fought like siblings do.

For a teen who is punished a lot, it's better to have siblings who are also punished and can share the heat, so to speak. Parents have only so many minutes per day, and only so much energy. In your case, it sounds like a liability if they favor her over you.

That's a bit sad. My siblings are much older than me, but I had a cousin who I grew up with; our dads were gone alot so our mothers spent alot of time together with us, and we had that friendship feeling.

That is good, maybe it was easier for you as you were not siblings. My parents parents were always much stricter with me and they still are, like I get the belt ot the cane very often but she doesn't. I think they like her better.

I think we could do more things together like playing football, running and also I think my parents are so strict with me and not her cos I'm a boy.

having siblings prepares you for the world, where oyu will find conflict all the time, i think only children arent prepared for it as well as people with siblings

You don't feel you two can be friends together, like when your parents are at you for something?
erik2000 · 22-25, M
No, I never feel that we are friends. And my parents always punish me when we fight or argue.
erik2000 · 22-25, M
I see. I always thought that I would be happier with a brother.
