I Am Paranoid
I get ridiculously paranoid, and I'm self-aware enough to know it.
If someone asks too many questions during a conversation, I think they're trying to manipulate me.
If someone approaches me in confidence, I see it as them trying to take away my control and control is something I take very seriously.
And it's caused quite a few problems.
It's like when a dog looks another dog straight in the eyes. It's a challenge, and a threat, and don't do that.
I try to rationalize it if I can, but sometimes it gets the best of me.
It's this need to stay one step ahead, and two levels above everybody.
