I Think Love At First Sight May Have Found Me

Technically not at first sight. We met online and I thought her profile was one of the many fake profiles out there. She sent me a message and I was honestly pretty cold to her, I actually almost didn't answer. She said that convinced me it wasn't a fake or scam profile eventually. We texted first then talked on the phone all night until around 5am in the morning for a couple days. I usually cannot stand being on the phone but not with her. We ended up meeting Sunday afternoon and had dinner followed by talking in the parking lot until almost midnight. Then until very early morning again after we got home. Everything she had said was true and I was hooked listening to everything she said. It feels so weird to have only been talking to someone a week and have strong feelings. I tend to get nervous the more serious things get, but I'm not this time. I don't get it, everything just feels like we've known each other for years.

Can love at first sight be an actual real thing? Why is this developing so much more different than other relationships? I don't like my pessimist side but I keep waiting for the bad to show up, but it hasn't.
