Many times, as parents, we want more for our children. We may feel they are wasting their time and lives... and maybe they are. We wish for them to do something meaningful and useful. Sometimes, we don't handle things as well as we could, but that video shows that father being there for his son... pushing him to walk.

The world expects young adults to work and make something of themselves. That is pretty much a universal thing. A lesson or two learned in that video.

@SW-User lol.., this post reminded me of a funny lesson I taught my son.

We were playing 'Chutes and Ladders' and being I was quite good and versatile at things, he set-out to beat me at the game.

Well what do you know, on the third game he beat me and proceeded to stand and do a victory happy dance! I was quite surprised and yet tickled as he proceeded to rub it in my face laughing out loud...lol!!!

Again, we played and I beat him everytime after. After each time, I stood and did my Happy dance and rubbed it in his face..,lol. He stormed up to his room crying and slammed the door angry and frustrated!

And that is the day he learned how to be humble.

@eyeno Awwww... poor kid! lol I think it was a lesson well learned. If you had let it go, he might have turned out to be a sore winner with no friends.

Failing is part of learning. I never pressure my kids like that. I just want them to be happy.
