My father was never anything to me. I have only bad memories. My mom wasn't perfect but she did her best with the tools she had to keep us all together as a family.
@SW-User Though life was never easy for me either, I purposefully broke the generational chains when raising my son.

@eyeno I'm glad you did and saw a different/better way. Too often the excuse is people doing what was done to them instead of using it as a reason to change it.
