I Am At Peace With Who And What I Am

Working in a grocery store is easy. it pays pretty lame at first and usually for a good while until you become a hall of famer (or rather hall of lamer). But some days can bring you down emotionally if you let everything get to you Like on days when customers, coworkers, and managers decide to be an @$$hole to everyone they interact with (I swear it's something in our samples). But lame days like these can quickly change to some of the best days of the week if you got a strong mind. It can be seen as a great realization that you're not as dumb as you thought you were. I used to think I was dumb because that's all my dad and classmates would tell me back in the day. But working in retail has opened up new horizons for me because I've gained so much self realization and most importantly self-respect. I used to let people take advantage of me and make me feel like I was stupid but working in a grocery store has taught me how to overcome these issues and how to respect myself. I really do appreciate all the experience I'm getting in my first job....it's a win-win situation for me and my boss. I become less insecure and my boss benefits from my mad skills as a cashier.
