I Hate Fake People

I have met kindred spirits who are honest about their struggles and who are not afraid to give voice to their fears. Maybe there are only so many of us in this world. These I call fellow pilgrims.

It is those who travel a predetermined path in life without questioning that I feel sorry for. Those who talk about inane things in life and discount those who question as being 'overthinkers'. These fake people give me the creeps.

I admire people who question their purpose in life; go looking for answers. Fight through the hard times and have the will to keep on trying.

On the other hand, I prefer to talk about frivolous things with strangers online. There are a few here with whom I am willing to share the more personal things, but I've known them for a long time and trust them.

There will be different types. It just happens that I see a lot more of people who meet and talk about superficial things. I find it tiring going for such meetings where there is a meeting of face but no meeting of minds.

@novembermoon: I get that. I am deeper face to face, than online, because I speak and trust easier with people I'm close to.

Yeah, I guess... but struggling can be exhausting, frustrating, and disheartening. And, people tend to not want to hear about the exhaustion, frustration, and disheartening feelings of rejection. So, the rejection can get lonely...

I understand this. I think thinkers are undervalued and under-appreciated. The ones who don't question the status quo but who go along with what is expected are the ones who thrive. Don't despair. There are people here who would take time to listen. There are too few of these ones in the real world because they are so sucked into the doing and buying that they have lost the real sense of self. And what the self is made for.

@novembermoon: [cries]... Yeah, that kind of makes sense. Thanks!

I agree so much with this. Those people who never question anything do not look human to me.
I cannot help wondering if they do not really question anything, or they choose not to do it out of fear of the conclusions they will get to
