I Have A Love Hate Relationship With Technology

I want to go to a museum where you can try certain gadgets from it’s earliest production up until the latest technology as of now. Me and my brother would probably both love that. 😅You ever wondered exactly how “advanced” certain objects were if you traveled back 30-40+ years?

I laugh hearing about my dad telling me how privileged he was that him and his 2 sisters each got a 12 inch screen tv in the early 80s and how touchy they were. He said even with a tv antenna, if a motorcycle went by the house the picture quality would go really fuzzy and you might have to adjust the picture all over again. Is that true?

Broadcast TV did not have anywhere near the quality of cable TV. You had to have an outside, rooftop antenna to get really good, reliable signal quality. I don't know about the motorcycle thing, though.

@Thebestof1995 Yes. Not everyone had colour. We used to have B&W too, and had to change the channels with a pair of pliers because the channel knob broke.
