I Want to Hike the Appalachian Trail

Title says it all tbh, I've always wanted to do long hikes, and I started reading Bil Bryson's A Walk in The Woods, which led to me setting my mind on hiking the AT.

Read the book as well; but I learned long beforehand about the AT and thru-hikes and the internal communities from an airline magazine. Needless to say I was hooked from then on. I'm hoping to go on a thru-hike here in a few years. Spend the months hiking and sleeping in my hammock under the stars. I keep a framed map of the AT in the hallway as a reminder of my goal.

@Moniqueinspring. If you are going to hit the 100-Mile Wilderness just remember, at each end of the trail there are signs that say do not enter unless you have at least 10-days worth of food, water, and supply.
