I Love 80s Music

I wish I could tell the kids accurately about how fucking great the 80s and early 90s were. The music was so much fun, the fashion was outrageous, and mood was so much less oppressive. Everything felt so [i]real[/i] compared to today. I'd go back in a second. 👵🏻

I loved the 80s...my teenage years.
But...they were so great because we didnt have lifes worries on our shoulders at that tender age.
In the UK there was a lot if discontent in the 80s. High unemployment, strikes, riots, a huge gap forming between the people who were well off and the poor.
It was pretty dire....oppressive. i think we look back on our funtimes and forget the reality of it all.
