I have actually.....off the roof of the barn at the farm as a kid. The Winter always threw large drifts in to that corner of the barnyard, it was a classic New England "L" design, so winds out of the West would pile up the snow.
One Fall, my father had built a platform up in the top eaves of the barn as he was repairing some rotten roof boards. He never finished before Winter set in, but he sure did leave this nifty platform!
So.....the temptation was too great and...."Geronimo!" Down I went. It was all good, I did make it up on the way down, it was after impact in to the snowdrift that the situationally fubar. I drove myself into the snow up to my chest and there I was, unable to move. After I calmed down, I slowly dug myself out.

"Digging yourself out"......maybe the headline for another question. 馃槈
