I Cannot Be Sumed Up In a Little Blurb

Turning 40 isn’t a difficult thing to do but deciding what you really want for your birthday is.

And as she searched inside her heart and head.

She found the only thing she really wanted was death.

And why shouldn’t she have what she really wanted? It was her birthday after all.

She kept it a secret. She decided she would give herself the 6 months before her birthday to find a cure. To find a reason not to die.

And in that time she would dream like a mad woman of all the ways she could end it. She would write each day of a different way to die. Until she had died so many times in her head, the real thing would become either pointless or inevitable.

This is brilliant. You could probably easy turn it into a short story.
Lostpoet · M
@MayaHope Nah, write about this character you can die when you run out of stories and I hope you never do.

@MayaHope Wait a frick... I just made a post with a similar pic as your Avatar.
Seems like both of us never wanted to leave that tree.

Well that post was a bit of ego Seeping through really.

I’m about to head to counselling and I’m not going to mention my idea.

Oh I’m lost in a forest alright. Or I want to be... @Lostpoet
You are a very good writer...

Why not write about a million paths to take to find a reason not to die...

In the end, she may see that the pointlessness of her death matches how she sees her own life
MayaHope · 41-45, F
And how would she resolve that? @MattyVan
MattyVan · 51-55, M
@MayaHope No resolution other than simply keeping on to see what happens next.
MayaHope · 41-45, F
Yeah, sounds like you read the ending of my first book too lol @MattyVan
