I Miss My Brother
This is a true story:
When I got out of the service I came home and my wife left me. I hitched a ride to California with a dude I met in a bar. I was living in Florida at the time. No one knew where I was. I had no cell phone and no credit cards. A week after I left we were staying with one of his friends on Venice Beach. The phone rang and my friend told me it was for me. I thought he was lying.
I answered the phone and it was my brother. He told me our mother was sick and he sent a taxi to pick me up. The taxi came and took me to the airport. I had a ticket waiting for me.
I never knew how he found me and he would never say. A few weeks after he died I found out he was CIA and we never knew.
I learned at that moment they can find anyone they want.
