I am just curious, in the USA, asuming that is where you are from. At what age are the children allowed to be without adult supervision? I have just heard a lot of stories of "helicopter" and "overprotective" parenting styles coming from a mentality of "the predator is just around the corner" in the USA. Stories like a 15 year old not being allowed to purchase a can of Coca cola from a grocery store without adult supervision etc.

Not in the USA. I just happen to live in the rape capital of the world. Here in South Africa I dont even know what age.
