I Wear Glasses Or Contacts

When I was a kid, the eye doctor said I needed glasses. I'm neither nearsighted nor farsighted though, the problem is that my right eye is considerably worse than my left eye. They said that I needed to overwork my right eye and use it more than my left one, or else it wouldn't develop properly and I'd end up with a lazy eye. Of course, I couldn't walk around with my left eye shut all the time, that would be ridiculous. They offered to make me some special glasses that had one blacked out lens, but those would be expensive, and breakable. So instead, my grandma took me to a Halloween costume shop and bought me an eyepatch, like for a pirate costume. And for about 18 months, I wore an eyepatch as a kid. All my friends called me "Greenbeard the Pirate" because my favorite color is green.
