I love my job but I don't like how often my manager changes my schedule. I am scheduled to work anytime in the day, which is fine because we both agreed on this. But the specific times I work can be changed over night or at the last minute, and the manager won't even alert me about it. I was supposed to work today from 1pm - 5pm. I checked my schedule before work this morning and it had been changed to 1pm - 6pm. THEN when I arrive on time and punch in my employee number to begin my shift, the punch machine tells me that my new start time had been changed to 1:30pm. And shortly after that, a different manager tells me my shift on Monday had been changed from 4:00pm - 9:00pm to 9am - 1pm. I just logged in the employee portal to see Monday's shift time had been changed to 1pm -5pm. In fact, my schedule had changed throughout all of next week, last minute and without warning. My worry is that one day it'll be too late to notice an edited schedule and I'll arrive to work late or accidentally miss a workday because no one alerted me that it was edited. I didn't even get a phone call or an e-mail! I really like working there. It's my fourth day and I'm still in training but today went so smoothly; I've really improved so it'd really suck to lose this job. I didn't have to go through this with my previous job. Once the schedule was made, it was official. And if an employee called out or wanted to trade shifts, everyone was alerted about it so this is my first time experiencing such a problem. I'm really at a loss on what to do.
