I Write Short Stories

I will tell you about about my hometown, of childhood.
We rode our bikes everywhere,
No helmets insight.
We were always outside.
Yard, park or baseball diamonds
Friends, brothers and sisters
United as one
Through magical forsets and sandpits filled marshy lands
Rivers, creeks and highways
Trains whistling, banging and clanging
Now the scenery has changed
Too cements buildings casting long shadows
Over our memories of yesterday
