If I could drive, I’d come over in my car. I'd drop anything just to be where you are. It wouldn’t matter to me who was about. I’d be there as soon as I could without a doubt, not as lover but as your friend. I’d do anything to cheer you up, anything to mend, wipe away your tears, act stupid for a while... Anything I could to see that pretty smile. I know you’re hurting, I know you’re sad. I know your wall is up and I’m sensing that you’re mad, but your well-being means the upmost to me. I just want to see you thrive and be happy. Maybe sometimes I’m over the top with wishing you well, but I can’t stand the thought that you’re going through hell. If you ever need a coffee and a sympathetic ear, then I’m always here, you have nothing to fear. Take it from me, day or night, through any plight, I’ll be there for you to make sure you’re all right. I can keep my advice, try not to preach. I won’t cross the line.
