I Don'T Need To Lie I Have Nothing To Hide
The truth is a funny thing, I think.
It can set you free. It can label you. It can be judgmental and callous. It could place you in a corner, and make you so uncomfortable. It can hurt. Oh yes..., it can hurt. Yet the one thing it cannot be is refuted.
That is where I find the comfort in it.
Nay, I fear not my truths, nor do I fear another's version of it. I fear not the labeling condemnations that may be issued forth for my contemplation. I do not fear it's uncomfortable embrace when it surrounds me with things less stellar. I only ever fear the lying platitudes that tell me the lie is ok. That the lie is a welcome thing that cannot hurt me.
I'd rather the truth slay me in my entirety than to be saved by a lie. That, my friends, is my truth. ; The Truth As I See It.
