I Think Children Should Be Encouraged to Play Outside

I'm taking my nephews to go feed the ducks. Whenever they visit grandma, they mostly sit inside and watch TV. My sister usually has them doing a lot of outdoor activities. To suddenly be stuck inside all the time is no good. They'll go bored out of their minds.

As a kid, I was never inside and most of the people I knew weren't either. We didn't have video games and if I stayed inside there would be domestic chores to do. So outside I went. I worked in cotton fields when I was 12. But only for 10 hours a day.
