I Feel Uncomfortable

Being away in an outdoorsy environment, you tend to bond with everyone you’re not normally close to. Whether it be around the campfire or cooking in the make shift kitchen. People constantly touching your shoulder, your back, hugging you out of nowhere. It’s not a familiar feeling and I am still getting used to that.

I think it's because camping, when done correctly, breaks you down to the bare essentials. You have to work with what you have, which is whatever tasty food you brought and prepare, and your water source, and keeping that campfire going. And holding the deck chairs down. LOL
Without all the distractions and automatic plastic crap, you become more aware of each other. You're in it together. That's what all the shoulder squeezes are about! The people you are with are glad you are there. Just be there And enjoy.

And if you can camp somewhere where there's no phone reception next time, I highly recommend that too.

I hope you let your guard down a little and have a great time. Camping always feeds my soul.🌞

And good on you for getting out of your comfort zone. Not everybody does that!
