Writing essays can be a challenging and time-consuming task, especially when you have a lot of other responsibilities or just don't enjoy writing. However, with a little bit of organization and focus, you can make the process much easier and more efficient. Here are some tips that may help you when you're feeling stuck while writing an essay:

Start by brainstorming ideas and creating an outline. This will help you organize your thoughts and ensure that your essay has a clear structure.

Begin with the body of the essay. This is where you'll be able to fully expand on your ideas and support your arguments. It's easier to write the introduction and conclusion once you've already fleshed out the main points of your essay.

Don't be afraid to change your thesis or main argument as you're writing. As you continue to research and write, you may find that your initial ideas evolve or that you need to modify your argument. That's okay! It's important to be flexible and willing to change your perspective as you learn more about the topic.

If you're struggling to come up with new ideas, try freewriting or brainstorming. Set a timer for a certain amount of time (e.g. 15 minutes) and just write whatever comes to mind about the topic, without worrying about grammar or structure. You can then go back and edit later.

Take breaks and give yourself time to relax and recharge. Writing can be mentally draining, so it's important to take breaks and give yourself time to rest. You'll come back to your essay with a fresh perspective and may be able to think of new ideas more easily.

Seek feedback from peers or a tutor. Sometimes, getting an outside perspective can help you see your essay in a new light and identify areas for improvement.

I hope these tips are helpful as you work on your essays. Remember to be patient with yourself and give yourself time to revise and edit your work. With practice and persistence, you'll become a more confident and effective writer.

@Shade70 It is a psychology essay about whether or not we need to study the brain to understand the mind...I've said a lot already. I think I am going to try reading into my references more to see if there are any other details I could add. :)

Expand on everything. And if you haven't already, break all contractions into two words
