I Remember

I feel amazing. I never knew visiting my old neighborhood could bring me so much tranquility. The smell, the way it looked....it was all the same for the most part. And I feel like my inner child had a chance to be alive again. I remember how awesome it is to be me. Clearly I have some issues with my current life.....but I didn't really know that until now. I guess I lost my sense of pride somewhere along my teenage years. I now know what problems I have to confront. I feel so empowered by doing such a simple act. It's been about a decade since I last visited.....I needed this.
