I Remember

I it was early May 1977. I was in upper state New York and had a very rare late snow storm causing the power to go out. Whole New York City was in the dark for 24 hours and plenty of people were trapped in elevators.And The city of New York City was in a panic because Son Of Sam was at large.

MYC is close to my heart. I had two sisters who lived there. The oldest has past, the other has a farm in Mass. They experienced a number of problems. My second sister was on her way to the airport on 9/11 and walked 10 miles to get home to her apartment on the Hudson. I always like NYC and visited there a number of times. My sister wanted to return when her hubby died but there were no buyers for her farm so she remains there to this day.

Crazy...I remember Son of Sam..such a different time..I cannot imagine being stuck in an elevator..I would gon nuts!!
