When it comes to parents, there are times where we only see them as we were children. Our parents. Sometimes, we have to be adults to see that they could have had no clue, no help, or no idea how to raise us.

So very true. They winged it, just as we do. Kids don't come with instructions. They did their best, and the older you get, the more you'll appreciate exactly how hard they worked and exactly how much they sacrificed. Sometimes when we thought they were being mean to us, they were just going through terrible times of much struggle and heartache, which they sheltered us from. "Thanks mom and dad."
