I Like To Give Advice

If you are poor or maybe you're a teenager in a poor family.. Don't waste your money on things that don't last except obviously basic needs. Getting into habits like smoking, drinking and taking drugs you will literally spend all the money you have on it and sometimes money you don't have.

Buying things that won't last will put you in this mindset where you only do things that brings instant gratification. You'll have £200 say you need a phone or clothes but you'll find ways to waste it on things you don't need instead.. I know a friend who has no job won a £150 the only sensible thing he did with any of it was get a £10 haircut. The rest was booze and cigarettes.

Don't feed your impulses, because in the end you'll have nothìng to show for it. Seeking instant gratification will make you poor in every aspect of life.

What's so sensible about self-mutilation (getting a haircut)?
