Sucks we live in a world where our value as people is so contingent on how much shit we can take from other people without complaining or giving any back. Then we wonder why random acts of extreme violence are on the rise in "civilized" nations.
When you've got a country full of easily accessible guns, and you mix that with a soul crushing and emotionally oppressive work and school culture, of course a lot of people are going to get shot.
You expressed that so perfectly. Sometimes, the last thing we want to hear how is strong we are, yet one more time. All we really want to hear is that it's okay for us not to be strong, just for a little while. Being strong all the time truly is exhausting.
