I Wish I Had More Money

Living on a fixed income sucks, OK? Did 40 years...mostly Gov't work, get a pension/social Security, and after the BOHICA, I'm lucky if I have a pot to piss in and a window to throw it out of. And to add insult to injury, the most insidious but highly effective US agency, the IRS will be out there salivating to see how much they can get from me tomorrow...the bastards! I pray to God Almighty I'm not thinned out tomorrow (payday) at the Tax office...please leave me enough to get wasted after you've tortured me, that's all nothing more!

You are lucky . I am disabled unable to work and was gonna work till I died . Now I am stuck on benefits having to watch every penny deciding what I can and cant afford each month and always scared they might stop my benefits or change them etc always worried .There is nothing I can do I cant go back to work and ease my own financial problems like able bodied people can .You chose to retire I didn't choose to be disabled .
No, I did NOT choose to retire, and I can appreciate your situation. I worked for the US Gov't and if you know anything about them-they're two faced. They loathe; so they say, discrimination, including age. Well that didn't apply to me as a FEDERAL EMPLOYEE. I was forced out at 60. I wanted to stay. I now use my photography and cooking to bring in a few extra bucks. But go over a limit, the IRS is onyou like a chicken on a junebug! Thanks for your input.@Rhodesianman
