I Want to Understand Human Behavior

As I sat there, with tears flowing down my cheeks, the only thing he did was stare at me intently. What he was thinking remains a mystery to me. What he felt, I'll never know. He reached out with his hand. I prayed he would touch my heart and soothe it. Instead, he patted my head, gave me half a smile, and went on with his business. I couldn't believe the emptiness that small act left inside me.

I am so sorry ... What hurts mostly is that we create an imagination of love and our beloved's feelings towards us...

We can never feel their real feelings towards us correctly. And when we see it completely different from what we hopped and imagined, it creates that emptiness within.

The only way to move on is to accept that we made a mistake and that what was there, was mostly our imagination and not the truth.
