I Have Dark Skin

I'm proud of my dark skin. It took me a long time to accept my skin color. I have been made to feel less than because of it but what they didn't know was that I would be a better person because of it.

Good for you. Becoming to be a better person after what you struggled with. Becoming strong. But it shouldn’t be the case. No one should judge someone because you have dark skin while they have white skin. I’m brown skin. And I believe that it’s all about ignorance and the size of their brains that they judge me.

@ladyinrage So many centuries of stupidiness began for the ones who believed themselves as the best race made a lot of harm and it’s gonna take a very long time to keep things in their place.
If you grow in a country, in a culture where “ even there isn’t racism politically talking” but it indeed exists ingrain in our most hidden prejudices, it’s normal people who have black skin can feel even shame and even have these hidden prejudices themselves. It’s sad and very stupid by the way.
Be patience. And I’m very happy that you like and be proud of yourself.
