I Photograph Cemeteries

I've always enjoyed photographing in cemeteries. Today I took images of some sad reminders of what we'll encounter in them.

I run by cemeteries often and on occasion do stop and pray for the names chiseled on those stones, realizing that their souls have moved on to a much better place.

@soar2newhighs I am in New England. I think it is very wise to put plastic over the inscriptions. Many of ours have really faded due to the salt air. It's such a shame.

And that Cemetery was the site of a 600 year old oak tree sadly taken down as it though beautiful became a hazard.@toodlepip
