Viva Columbia!
Colombians said NO to that agreement , letting the President and the rest of the world know they were not backing the unconstitutional and preferential treatment of terrorists.

In that aspect, yes Viva Colombians who by saying NO protected the constitution, the legal system and the victims of the heinous crimes.

If they want to reach a real peace agreement , now they have to renegotiate the deal respecting the law and the rights of the citizens.

Colombians narrowly rejected the peace accords in last weekend’s referendum because they felt the guerrillas were getting too good a deal
That's right
A nobel would not help convince the 0.2% of voting Colombians needed to change their vote at a future referendum to do so
The deal definitely needs to be carefully studied and make the changes necessary
@Intothestorm: Fortunately Colombians had the opportunity to vote and choose what they considered best. A right that was most certainly going to be taken away if the referendum had won, and terrorists would have been granted seats in Congress without previous election, thus violating the Constitution and the basic principles of democracy.

That
And the fact that we don't have enough resources
It wouldn't be fair to give then employment , education and homes (to the actual FARC members )
While there is so many honest people already waiting for a place to live and work
That's for me an important part to be reviewed and improved
@Intothestorm: Exactly. They want to find a living ? Find a job , or create legal employment like law abiding citizens.
Increasing taxes to support criminals who will not go to jail for a single day, didn´t sit well among the sane people who respect the law and love their country.

Sooner or later we would have to do something definitive to stop the terrorism
They are a plague
They aren't trustful
This is not new
For years we had been asking to stop
Stop attacking innocent people
Stop killing
This is maybe
Our last chance
Or wait 50 years more
If we're going to do it
We must do it the right way
Not everyone will be happy
But
It would be over
@Intothestorm: This simply was NOT the way. And Colombians made that very clear. If FARC is willing to stop their criminals activities and act accordingly, pay for their crimes and to their victims then Colombians will be willing to give them a chance provided all constitutional protections are respected.

Remember there cannot be peace where injustice is present.

A high price to pay to live in peace
@Intothestorm: No. Hasty, biased agreements like the one that was rejected are a high price with disastrous consequences.

The campaign brainwashed people into thinking it was the only way without showing them the dark sinister side.
