Depends on how good of friends I become with some of the people I meet online. I've shared more personal information with a couple of them and we talk on the phone, have met in real life, and have great real life friendships. Others I wouldnt dare share with.

And I friended you right before I saw this. Still, when I do that, it's about following more than saying we're friends. I just find you (or the person) interesting enough to want to see more of their posts and comments.
