@SweetnDemented Maybe an old style one - I believe in equal rights so I prefer the term "egalitarian".
My post was intended to question why the name of the group specified "female". All the independent studies have found that men are at least as likely to be victims of abuse as women are.
Northampton Women's Aid has even changed it's name in recognition of that fact and to make it clear they'll help male victims too.

@Caroline259 Female because that is my mission. It's global so no small feat and with interest directed at immediate gratification by most people it is a challenging mission.
There is nothing implicit in the group/work and it would be nice to see someone taking a stand for male abuse apart from the occasional response like yours.
Explicitly yes I want to help and heal female survivors. I am no Amma and certainly need as much help as available.
