I Love Stephen King

“No one can tell what goes on in between the person you were and the person you become. No one can chart that blue and lonely section of hell. There are no maps of the change. You just come out the other side. Or you don't.”

From the Stand? I need to watch it again. I remember binging it many years ago. We just stayed in bed for hours watching all of it over a couple of days. Fond memories there.

@CheerfullyCurious That's it ;) Definite one of King's best and the TV series was a total classic....I wonder if this one will ever get the big screen treatment like IT.

@SW-User it certainly deserves to hit the big screens . I suspect they are going to do a couple of IT movies. The Stand is even a longer story.

@CheerfullyCurious Yes the Stand would take multiple movies to do it justice so it will probably be shied away from. I haven't seen the new IT but I've heard it was great.

@SW-User it was just okay in my opinion but i listened to the uncut audio book recently and it was still fresh in my memory so im probably a poor judge.

@CheerfullyCurious Ha yea books have a way of ruining the movie because rarely are they ever going to compare. I need to read IT again..haven't read that one in probably 20 years.

I see the uncut audiobook of the Stand is over 50 hours long. I prefer audiobooks actually. @SW-User

@CheerfullyCurious I've never been much for being read to...my mind drifts off too easily. I'd have to listen in very small spurts, lol.
