Why is my messages not working is it because im 16 or something totally different?

I don't think they've enabled the use of 'message' on our profiles yet.I believe with time we'll be able to use them when it's enabled or 'activated'. Lol. (the word 'enabled' has become a star in my explanation). Hehe :)
