I Am a Pantheist

Where We Come From And Where We Will End...
While we believe we are apart from things while we have a more defined form this is not the case. We are made of the earth we walk upon and the sun shining down upon us. We are merely a reconfiguration of this matter/energy. Walking on top of ourselves. Our consciousness is no more significant than that of a rock. Actually, its will to live might be stronger than ours.

We are part of a larger configuration - The big bang. In the end all of this explosive debris will be cleaned up (including the messy us). So we might as well enjoy our ego and its notion of its importance as long as we can.

I find your interest in both Pantheism and Buddhism very fascinating. I take it that you're a naturalistic Pantheist rather than of the supernatural variety where the universe is said intelligent.

In my understanding you dwell at the fringe of skepticism (close to the agnostics) and incorporate some Buddhist thought into your worldview. This substantiates the hypothesis that fringe elements are more likely to alter their beliefs and perhaps even perceptually migrate.

@Success Kind of...but I do place an intelligence on the universe. I just accept that the universe is a closed system that we are part of - blended intelligence into one "god". We are currently part of the big bang explosion. Are existence is essential for the process...for we are the process. Thanks for reading and commenting. :)

@okaybut One clarifying question: Do you believe that the universe is alive, self aware, and able to make decisions? I won't comment on your answer to this.

@Success Kind of...I believe we are the following the laws of the universe exploding. Explosion creates energy spewing suns...the energy from the sun hits the earth...the matter on the earth gets sparked by the suns energy...and eventually we are born. :) We will all die with the unfolding of the process one day.
