I Did the Stupidest Thing

continuation of the previous story..

I wanted her number. I knew if not today I wouldn't have another excuse to text her..so I asked my friend...she said "she asked for yours" I have no words to explain what I felt that moment..I asked what did she say..my friend said "you're both the same..asking questions about eachother"..she has started the conversation by saying.."someone was wearing a fish braid today"... I thought she was just curious told myself not to get too excited..but whom are we kidding I was over the moon.. but my friend didn;t have her number so she had to ask her cousin to give mine to her...so her cousin was offline for hours..while I was dying...finally her cousin asked me if its fine to give her my number...I was like "yea sure"... acting cool but thinking pleeeeeasssssssssse doooo...

She came online like an hour later and messaged me...She said I know its random..and said "you look hella pretty today"...I considered her a funny personality didn't take it as a serious comment cause I wasn't sure if this was another joke of hers..so I asked..she convinced me it wasn't...

We were talking for hours..

I have liked girls before..Infact I think I was in love with one.. I didn't want to go down that road again..not with an exam coming up...so I was afraid..cause they never like you back...ever...especially girls..


So I told her I couldn't talk...and I said she is straight..she agreed she said "yea thanks for understanding" that broke my heart.. so I went offline...


But next day I decided to be friends..cause thats what she wanted..so we continued talking...we fought ..not serious fights.. I opened up to her she was really sweet..I was going through a rough couple of days...I had spoken to 2 counselors..

She kept randomly complimenting me ...I thought she was just extra nice...

Till she confessed...she liked me...
